Signals: sense what's changing before you act on it
Signals answers three questions at once: what do your sources agree on, what is each one picking up on its own, and where do you have no coverage yet? Persona X treats agreement between independent sources as the bar for actually changing your Strategy.
Your sources
A strip near the top lists every source Signals is watching, each with its own freshness marker:
| Source | What it tracks |
|---|---|
| Market | External market intelligence and trend findings, dated by last run. |
| Discussions | Public conversations (forums, social, communities) mentioning your space or buyers. |
| Customer | Your own logged customer conversations. |
| Your pipeline | Signal read directly off your live deals (how many it's watching). |
| Your assumption | Every assumption your team or the AI has stated out loud — treated as its own, lowest‑trust source until it's corroborated. |
Overview, and per‑source tabs
Under the source strip, tabs let you view Overview (everything blended together) or drill into one source at a time — Market, Customers, Discussions — each labeled with its current finding count.
Agreed by multiple sources
This is the headline section: themes that two or more independent source families landed on separately, ranked by how many agreed. Each card shows:
- How many of the available sources agree (e.g. "3 of 5 sources agree · 2 silent").
- A one‑line theme statement.
- What it most likely affects (e.g. Enablement, Prioritization).
- Total evidence count and a confidence score.
- The individual pieces of evidence underneath, each tagged with the source it came from (Your assumption, Discussions, etc.) and a link to the original document or post.
Where this feeds back in
Signals is designed to feed the rest of the product, not sit on its own:
- Strategy — Positioning and Messaging blocks can be re‑drafted "from evidence," pulling directly from what Signals has surfaced.
- Personas — a persona's Overview links out to "See what online discussions say on Signals," filtered to that persona.
- LinkedIn — auto‑drafted posts are explicitly generated from a named signal ("Auto‑drafted from signal: …").
- Workspace Memory — confirmed signals graduate into durable, high‑confidence facts in the Brain.
